On the way to work today, I spotted this car in traffic. Michigan manufacturer plate, badges covered with tape. I t looks like a Nissan Altima, and generally just like the 2019 redesign of the car.
But that car is already out, and we’re a long way from Michigan. So I’m curious what it’s doing in northern California. Maybe a full electric model?
Sorry for only having the one picture, didn’t want to crash my car taking spy shots of an Altima. Oppo thoughts?

Probably a powertrain thing, yeah. They could have at least used white tape.

I was in NORCAL earlier this year and saw what I thought was a Murano in camo driving around. It sounded like a hybrid. I wonder if they have a test facility in NORCAL.

Plausible deniability for a high-profile breakdown.

That’s the new Sentra, presumably undergoing final certification for U.S sales:

They do have an electric vehicle technical and testing facility in West Sacramento . I’ve seen a few low-production and concept electric vehicles over the years in and around Sacramento proper.
